The CR Group created and coordinated a national search for a National Day of Prayer theme song.  We launched a national publicity campaign, as well as grassroots networking efforts, soliciting song entries and creating higher visibility for the NDP and its mission.  We also assembled an important group of music industry judges and managed the entire song submission and selection process. 

The winning songwriter’s work was recorded by Rebecca St James for NDP and distributed to thousands of NDP volunteers nationwide, as well as performed for many city and state NDP observances.

During National Day of Prayer observances, the winning song was performed for the President at the White House, members of Congress and the Pentagon.  The theme song was distributed by Word to Christian radio nation wide.  The theme song was also used for an NDP music video which was produced by The CR Group, and the DVD was distributed to thousands of NDP volunteers across the country. 

In addition to creating and implementing the contest itself, The CR Group also helped NDP and other partners in this promotion to manage copyright issues, contest entries, recording, publicity, permissions, and release of the theme song.
